Collaboration Agreement Signing Between Faculty of Medicine Represented by AL-Amoudi Center of Excellence in Breast Cancer and Saudi Cancer Society in the Eastern Province

Faculty of Medicine, represented by Sheikh Mohammed Hussien AL-Amoudi Center of Excellence in Breast Cancer, signed a collaboration agreement with Saudi Cancer Society in the Eastern Province on Tuesday, 19/08/1435H (17/06/2014G), under the auspice of Prof. Mahmoud Shaheen Al-Ahwal, Dean of Faculty of Medicine, and Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Turki; supervised by Dr. Samia Al-Amoudi, CEO of Sheikh Mohammed Hussien AL-Amoudi Center of Excellence in Breast Cancer; and with the presence of Dr. Amro AlHibshi, Vice Dean University Hospital Director.
The agreement aims to have a joint collaboration between the two parties, to work and implement educational programs by training; upgrading the medical services of all kinds; conducting awareness programs to spread the culture of early screening for breast cancer; to urge women to periodically perform periodic breast cancer screening; and also to provide scientific advices to medical clinics in consulting the survivors.
