Department of Nutrition and Diet aims to provide quality services to the patients, staffs, and students through provision of prepared meals that went through a strict supervision in the receiving of raw foods and ingredients, preparation, and processing, until serving the meals. The department assures that the meals are with best quality and taste.
The important roles of the Department are the effectiveness in providing nutritional advice for inpatient, outpatient, and therapeutic feeding; and active participation in educating and imparting nutritional advices through conducting of lectures and seminars to serve the community.

* Ensures meals provided to inpatient, restaurant staff and students are with optimum nutrition and diet.

* Dispensing dietary supplements for inpatients.
* Preparing various medical dietary and nutritional formulations for the inpatients to be given via tube feeding.

* Trains and assesses students specializing in the field of nutrition through various training programs within the department.
