King Abdulaziz University Hospital Jeddah Strategic Planning Workshop

Under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud Shaheen Al-Ahwal, Dean of Faculty of Medicine in King Abdulaziz University Jeddah; and with the presence of Dr. Ibrahim Al-Badawi, Deputy Director of Center for Strategic Studies in King Abdulaziz University; King Abdulaziz University Hospital has organized a strategic planning workshop that was held last 11/08/1434H (18/05/2016G). The workshop was attended by the members of the medical board, department heads, and some hospital executives. The objective of the workshop was to discuss the strategic plans of the University Hospital. To start the workshop, Prof. Mahmoud Shaheen Al-Ahwal delivered his opening speech where he welcomed the honorable attendees for expressing their interest to the workshop. Dr. Ibrahim Al-Badawi also delivered his speech and conveyed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Faculty of Medicine and University Hospital for their cooperation. Afterwards, the workshop began and tackled topics regarding the agenda, discussed the results of the questionnaires from the first workshop which was organized last 1435H. During the workshop, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Badawi distributed some e-forms relating to the plan, which was later discussed among the attendees. After several discussion, a plan was formulated and expected to be implemented in the future in order to develop and improve new operational and existing objectives of the University Hospital. At the conclusion of the workshop, it was agreed that there would be another workshop that will be held at the end of the summer vacation of this year to finalize the necessary requirements for the developmental plan. The Dean of Faculty of Medicine also thanked the attendees for taking part of this workshop.
