Accreditation Canada Delegation Visits University Hospital

Dean of Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Mahmoud Shaheen Al-Ahwal, and Vice Dean University Hospital Director, Dr. Amro AlHibshi welcomed the Accreditation Canada Delegation at the University Hospital last 24/05/1436H (15/03/2015G). The Accreditation Canada Delegation conducted a mock survey for a week, from 24-28/05/1436H (15-19/03/2015G), in preparation for the renewal of the accreditation certificate of the University Hospital
Members of the Accreditation Canada delegation had scheduled site visits and were briefed through the complete procedures and workflow in all medical and administrative aspects. Several meetings were held with all the chairman of the departments of the University Hospital to discuss the details of the work, future plans to be established, important issues related to the University Hospital’s medical and administrative aspects, and to review the key points to raise the efficiency of all departments and their employees.
Significant developments in all departments, the availability of new medical and technical capabilities, highly competent medical and administrative staffs, and strict hospital guidelines and managements were all commended by the Accreditation Canada delegation. At the meeting’s conclusion, Dr. Amro Alhibshi told in his speech that the University Hospital is constantly working to improve in order to serve all segments of society.
