Faculty of Medicine Launched " Run for your life" Marathon

The Faculty of Medicine established a “Run for your life” marathon in the campus of King Abdulaziz University Hospital on Thursday 20/04/1435H (20/02/2014G).
The marathon was attended by a large number of students from the Faculty of Medicine and in addition to some seniors. This health activity is included in the department’s program intended for the students of the King Abdulaziz University and this was been a project made by the 4th year male community medicine student.
The activity aims to raise health awareness and the importance of having exercise to prevent cardiovascular disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, and obesity. The Faculty of Medicine, represented by Department of Family and Community Medicine, is keen in investing young people with great talents to serve the community.
