Under the auspice of Prof. Mahmoud Shaheen Al-Ahwal, Dean of Faculty of Medicine, held its first Advisory Committee meeting in King Abdulaziz University Hospital that was held last Monday, 26/06/1437H (04/04/2016H), 10:30 in the morning. The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Advisory Committee of King Abdulaziz University Hospital in Rabigh; Members of the Faculty of Medicine in Rabigh; the Vice Dean University Hospital Director Dr. Amro AlHibshi; and some other executives of the committee. During the meeting, Dr. Ahmad bin Mohammad AlManjomi, Vice Dean University Hospital Director in Rabigh, has presented a presentation regarding the structural design of the University Hospital in Rabigh which was prepared by the Vice Presidency for Projects. Another presentation visualized the infrastructure of the building that showing the location for the patient admission section, outpatient clinics, emergency department, isolation rooms, intensive care unit, and medical laboratories. After the presentation, a discussion was held between the members regarding with some errors that have or may emerge in the future and how to avoid it at the early stage of design and development.
After the discussion, the committee has recommended to make minutes of the meeting and to disseminate it to the members. The second advisory meeting will be held in 25/07/1437H (02/05/2016G) and the third meeting on 23/08/1437H (30/05/2016G) to finalize the status of the organizational chart, policies, administrative and medical procedures, human resource, and operating plan.
