Media Personnel Honoring Ceremony

King Abdulaziz University has organized an honoring ceremony for the media personnel on January 18, 2017 for their media coverage services for the University Hospital in its various achievements and information dissemination to the general public.

During the ceremony, the Medical Director of the University Hospital, Dr. Shadi Al-Khayyat, expressed his sincere thanks and to the media personnel for their cooperation with the University Hospital. He also stated that the role of the media is important in helping the University Hospital to disseminate important information and services that the hospital provides to the patient.

Regarding achievements, King Abdulaziz University Hospital has passed the 3rd cycle of Accreditation Canada International receiving a Diamond Level, one of the highest levels of quality health services and patient safety, last February 2016. King Abdulaziz University Hospital is currently the only hospital in the Middle East. Following to that, an awarding ceremony was organized last 10/06/2016 to celebrate the achievement that was held in the Main Auditorium of the University Hospital under the auspices of Prof. Abdulrahman Al-Youbi, President of King Abdulaziz University, and Prof. Mahmoud Shaheen Al-Ahwal, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine.
