Pediatric Gastroenterology Day at King Abdulaziz University Hospital

Under the supervision of the Pediatric Department, the Faculty of Medicine at King Abdulaziz University has conducted a conference entitled “Pediatric Gastroenterology Day” last Thursday, 29/12/1435H (23/10/2014G).
The conference was attended by doctors and professors, from various hospitals and universities in Makkah Region, specializing in Gastrointestinal (GI) tract, hepatic diseases, and pediatric nutrition.
His Excellency Dr. Omar Ibrahim Saadah, Vice Dean for Development, narrated that the purpose of this conference is to educate doctors, health practitioners, and also students regarding to some common pediatric GI diseases. He also expounded that the main objective of this conference is to raise the quality in rendering healthcare services to pediatric patients with GI disorder, hepatic diseases and malnutrition.
