Faculty of Medicine and University Hospital Participates in the 3rd Scientific Forum for People Working in the Field of Safety in the University

On Behalf of the Minister of Education, Dr. Azzam Bin Mohammed Al-Dakhil, Deputy Minister of Education, Dr. Ahmed Bin Mohammed Saif headed the opening of the event “The 3rd Scientific Forum for People Working in the Field of Safety in the University” last Sunday, 26/04/1436H (15/02/2015G) that was organized by the University under the title “Occupational Health and Safety in Ministry of Higher Education Institutions” with the presence of His Excellency Prof. Abdulrahman Obaid Alyoubi, Interim University President, and more than 1,500 participants.
On his speech, Prof. Abdullah Bafail, Vice Presidency for Project and the Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Forum, stated that the forum is to instigate the attention of everyone on the new systematic occupational health and safety in Saudi Universities to enhance the infrastructure, to provide adequate national cadres, and to develop effective scientific and practical programs for the promotion of occupational health and safety within each universities. He also stressed that Saudi universities must provide a healthy and safe environment to its employee within the campus is the most important aspect of the forum.
