Speak To Me in My Language Campaign

In coordination with the Public Relation Department, the Volunteer Service Office in King Abdulaziz University Hospital has conducted an awareness and educational campaign entitled “Speak To Me In My Language” under the supervision of Dr. Sindhi and Dr. Raafat Shaza Bukhari last Sunday, 14/07/1436H (03/5/2015G) in the main lobby of the University Hospital. A special class was also organized which aimed at teaching the community on how to communicate to children with visual and communication impairment.
Prof. Mahmoud Shaheen Al-Ahwal, Dean of Faculty of Medicine, was present in during the opening ceremony of the awareness campaign. The aim of the campaign was to raise the awareness of the community regarding of the importance of learning the language and on how to properly communicate to children with visual and hearing impairment.
