“Using Ultrasonography in Diagnosing and Treating Critical Cases” Workshop

                  
                  

King Abdulaziz University Hospital, in collaboration with the Clinical Skills Laboratory, has organized a workshop “Using Ultrasonography in Diagnosing and Treating Critical Cases” under the supervision of Dr. Haifa Qathami, Intensive Care Unit Consultant; and Dr. Ashraf AlTayar, Intensive Care Unit Consultant in King Fahd Hospital in Dammam; and in coordination with Dr. Walid Al-Hibshi that was held last 18-19/04/1437H (29-29/01/2016G).
The workshop’s objectives were to help critical care and emergency department physicians to provide first aid and emergency treatment to the patients showing similar symptoms in the shortest time possible to avoid addition damage caused by the delay in diagnosis.
The workshop was participated by a huge number of doctors, of which coming from the United Kingdom, gulf countries, and also from within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (King Abdulaziz University Jeddah, and Eastern Provinces).
Dr. Abdulaziz Boker, Head of the Clinical Skills Laboratory, stressed that the workshop was organized to educate doctors on how to use ultasonography technique to provide an appropriate care, and to improve the teaching and assessment quality of various medical schools.
