* To guide and educate patients, visitors, students, and staff on the jurisprudential (fiqh) provisions.
* Promote the awareness of the healthcare providers of the importance of the work they do, the great rewards they reap in the hereafter, and the participation in easing patients’ suffering.
* Invite non-Muslims to Islam and introduce them to its beauty.
* Make technical support and suitable equipment available for the Religious Affairs Department.

 

 

Responsibilities of CPRU are to:

1. Inpatients services

* Provide the clean earth packets for dry ablution (Tayammum).
* Provide prayer carpets.
* Provide copies of the holy Quran.
* Give legitimacy and jurisprudential Fatwas.
* Give booklets related to patients’ legitimacy provisions.
* Make visits to patients.
* Provide services for dying and death cases.
* Answering machine for Islamic legitimate opinions (fatwaas) Ext:51888 ,Or landline : 0126951888.

2. Services for our patients, their escorts and visitors

* Provide jurisprudential, ligitimacy, and miscellaneous booklets.
* Provide copies of the holy Quran.

3. Services for doctors and students

* Raise the awareness about Ethics of the Muslim doctor.
* Introduce Shariah provisions relating to the medical profession.
* Establish monthly awareness lessons.

4. Services for staff and technicians

* Raise the awareness about the dress that follows the ethics of profession.
* Contribute to the acquainting week for new employees
* Establish monthly awareness lessons
* Arrange trips to the holy places

5. Services for Non-Muslim expatriates

* Introducing Islam to expatriates by holding lectures at the residential compound and distributing booklets on Islam.
* Follow-up of new Muslims in coordination with the concerned authorities

6. General Services

* Look after prayer rooms
* supervise waiting rooms
* Watering water
