Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Unit

Scope of Service :

Our services are designed to help persons with pain, disabilities as stroke and amputation, post orthopedic surgery as fracture and total knee replacement.
We help patient to achieve a greater level of physical function and maintain a personally satisfying level of independence.
Our Team includes a group of physiatrists, physiotherapists, physiotherapy technicians, Occupational therapist, and Orthotic & prosthetic Technician working closely with the patient and family to provide preventive, diagnostic, and treatment services that will meet their individualized goals.
The department cooperates with the other departments to provide better services to inpatient and outpatient for all populations of King Abdul-Aziz University Hospital.

Clinics :

Screening clinics: daily clinic in the Physical Medicine Unit run by the therapists, and physical medicine resident doctor.
Physical medicine specialty clinics: within the general clinic provide consultation once weekly for each consultant.

Training :

We provide training program for graduate and post graduated physiotherapists, physiotherapy technician and physician
